Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson, both 63, sent shockwaves early on in March when they revealed that they had both been diagnosed with the COVID-19 virus.

Two week after the couple showed their first symptoms, Hanks revealed they are “feeling better” through a social media post. Wilson seems to have confirmed that statement, as she posted a video of herself rapping to the 90’s hit, Hip Hop Hooray.

The week, Rita Wilson took to Instagram to post a video of herself rapping while in Quarantine. The hilarious video featured Wilson rapping along to the hit 1992 song Hip Hop Hooray by Naughty by Nature.

The video was captioned,

“Quarantine Stir Crazy. See it to believe it.”

On Sunday evening, her husband Tom Hanks took to Facebook to share an update with his fans on his and his wife's recovery, two weeks after their first symptoms appeared. Hanks assured everyone they "feel better," but also used the opportunity to urge his fans to stay home and take social distancing seriously.

In his post, Hanks told his fans he and his wife are ‘feeling better’.

“Hey, folks. Two weeks after our first symptoms and we (Rita Wilson) feel better,” he wrote. “Sheltering in place works like this: You don’t give it to anyone - You don’t get it from anyone. Common sense, no? Going to take awhile, but if we take care of each other, help where we can, and give up some comforts...this, too, shall pass. We can figure this out. Hanx”

On March 12, Hanks took to Instagram where he announced he and his wife had tested positive for Coronavirus while in Australia. The post was accompanied by a photo of a medical glove in a biohazard trash bin.

"To play things right, as is needed in the world right now, we were tested for the Coronavirus, and were found to be positive."

He wrote that he and Rita came down with fever and chills, and the two went to get tested and are now taking the situation one day at a time.
