Rihanna Is Officially America's Richest Female Musician

It’s pretty well known by now that Rihanna is a woman of many trades. Apart from being a globally successful singer, she is also an actress, fashion designer, and beauty mogul - who can now say that she is officially the highest paid female musician in the world.

This year, Forbes’ list for America’s richest self-made women under 40 had Rihanna topping the list as the highest paid woman in the music industry, with an estimated worth of $600 million.

According to Forbes, the 35-year-old acquired a substantial chunk of her wealth through her Fenty Beauty cosmetics line, which was launched with LVMH in 2017. The cosmetics line is said to have cashed in an estimated $570 million in revenue in the first 15 months following its launch.

Following the huge success of her cosmetics line, Rihanna has now launched a lingerie brand Savage x Fenty which has already taken the high-end fashion industry by storm, once more collaborating with Fenty and LVMH.

“They extended the offer to me and it was a no-brainer because LVMH is a machine,” Rihanna told The New York Times Style Magazine.
“Bernard Arnault was so enthusiastic; he trusted me and my vision.”

The list placed Rihanna ahead of many of her other fellow pop stars. Madonna came in as a close second at $570 million, followed by Celine Dion at $450 million and Beyonce at $400 million.
