Rescued Dog Won't Let Go Of His Dad’s Arm On The Ride To His New Home

One look at these pictures and it is easy to see why Stanley the dog has been given the nickname of Velcro Dog.

As a rescue dog, it is somewhat surprising that Stanley has taken to his human owner so quickly. Sam Clarence was working selflessly as a volunteer dog walker when he first met Stanley. At the time, Stanley was in a foster home but Sam was sure that he could provide a better home for the sweet dog.

It did not take long for Stanley to become comfortable with his new owner. Although he was skittish at first, he soon warmed up to Sam. These days, Stanley is more than just close to Sam. The dog actually insists on touching Sam nearly all of the time.

Stanley is always snuggled right up to Sam when the two sleep. When they go for a car ride, Stanley will just rest his paw on Sam's shoulder as he drives. Thankfully, Sam recognizes that Stanley is just making up for lost time and needs to always be close to his owner. The two are truly a match made in heaven.
