Rescue Dog Won’t Stop Smiling After Realizing She Has Been Saved

It’s common to see people smiling, but when a puppy smiles, you can’t help but get excited about it.

Of course, like most anyone, even a pup needs a reason to grin. This adorable little female dog smiles for many good reasons.

When Layla was rescued from nearly getting struck by a car on a highway, she got lucky. After being saved, the people who took her off the street placed her in an animal shelter called Beaumont Animal Care, which is located in Texas.

This tiny female pup that was just seven months old and in a weakened state at the time was cared for so well at Beaumont she couldn’t help but smile. A video was made of her smiling because she was so doggone cute.

When it was time for Layla to be put up for adoption, the video that was recorded came in handy.

When viewers saw the pup’s sweet smile, many of them wanted to adopt her. So did Nicole Toney, she and her spouse were very interested in making this dog a part of their family.

Nicole knew right away she wanted to adopt Layla, so she walked into the shelter and asked to see the dog that smiles.

She went back a few times to hold her, and she took her home when the workers said it was okay to do so.

The puppy went home with Nicole and had to get used to living with three canines and a feline. After Nicole’s dogs and cat used their nose to examine the new addition, Layla was accepted by them.

All of Nicole’s pets get along well with each other now, and although Layla is older, she still warms hearts with that fresh sweet smile everyone adores.
