Reports Say 76-Year-Old World Star Aretha Franklin Is Gravely Ill

The 76-year-old singer, Aretha Franklin, is in gravely ill condition. She is currently with her family preparing for the end stage.

After gracing the world with legendary songs such as "Respect," "Freeway of Love," "Natural Woman" and "Chain of Fools" singer, Aretha Franklin, is said to be gravely ill. Her fans know her as the queen of soul, and she gave them decade upon decade of beautiful songs, inspirational ballads, and motivational dance hits. It will be sad for us to say goodbye to her. However, her music will live inside of our hearts forever. Mrs. Franklin's family is asking for prayers and privacy as they prepare for her imminent departure. She is currently 76 years old.

Mrs. Franklin has given many historical performances. She sang a song at Martin Luther King's memorial service and astonished the crowd there. She recently sang a song at Barack Obama's inauguration that brought him to tears. Not many artists still have that same powerful singing voice in their senior years, but she did. Her soul was so strong that we could still hear her shine in her 70s. All of her fans across the world are praying for her at this time that she has a smooth departure and doesn't undergo too much pain.

She retired in 2017 as she knew of her illness at that time. It just so happened that it got the best of her sooner than she thought. No is confirming what the illness is. Her family is not releasing such statements. They are just asking that everyone supports her with prayer. As of August 13th of 2018, she had been in hospice care for an entire week. Rolling Stone referred to her as the number one singer of all times comet and everybody refers to her as the queen of soul. She will not be forgotten.

She was diagnosed with cancer in 2010, but she kept on going and continued to work hard for many years. It wasn't until February of 2017 that she announced her retirement and gave her final performance. She made her final performance at the Mann Center in August for the Elton John AIDS Foundation. Even in her sickly years, she was always doing something to support other people.

Mrs. Franklin will leave a wonderful legacy behind when she departs from this world. Her legendary music will continue to heal the hearts of many people.
