Renée Zellweger And Catherine Zeta-jones Had An Adorable ‘Chicago’ Reunion At The 2020 SAG Awards

Catherine Zeta-Jones And Renée Zellwegger shared a sweet embrace when they greeted one another at the SAG Awards last weekend, reminding fans of their perfect on-screen chemistry in the 2002 hit “Chicago.”

They were caught on camera mingling backstage at the award ceremony that brings together much of Hollywood’s elite reported People. Renée was a 2020 SAG Award winner for her role in “Judy” as Judy Garland while Catherine was there to support her fellow actors and her husband Michael, also nominated. She sent out her best wishes to her acting community and spouse in a cute video on Instagram in the car to the event.

Catherine also posted a congratulatory Instagram post with best wishes for Renée.

"Wishing a congratulations to my dear friend Renée on all of your success with #Judy. It has been amazing to watch you! ♥️♥️"

The two actresses co-starred in “Chicago” as two criminals turned stage stars Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly, iconic roles of musical theater. The film was a big award darling and even won the Oscar for best picture. Catherine and Renée had also nabbed two SAG awards in 2003 as Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role.

The two were later seen talking to Jennifer Lopez, nominated for her role in “Hustlers,” that same evening. With the mega-wattage of the three stars in the same conversation, people can only speculate what they’re chatting about. No doubt there were many congratulations and compliments for their acting work.
