Realtor Falls Down, Dress Flops Over Her Head While Showing House

In August, realtor Sam Staskal took to Facebook to share a hilarious encounter she had with a client while showing a home. The video now has over 12 million views.

How about that time that you noticed the branch you were going to trip over when you were hiking at the last moment, jumped to avoid it, and landed gracefully? No one was there to see it, right? That's just the way life works out sometime.

Coincidentally, isn't there always a crowd when something goes spectacularly wrong? That was the case for a real estate agent from Wisconsin named Sam Staskal.

When Sam Staskal woke up that morning, she probably didn't think she would become part of an incident that would lead to a video that has over 12 million views. As a real estate agent, she probably expected that it would be a fairly normal day.

She'd meet with potential buyers, show a couple of listings, return some e-mails. Unfortunately for her, fate had other plans for her day. Little did she know that these plans involved a rather revealing incident.

Staskal's video starts right after the incident in question. The real estate from Wisconsin details how she had a meeting with some clients to show them a house. Everything was proceeding normally when Staskal and her client started to head around the house to take a look at the property.

She was pointing out some key items around the home when she suddenly found herself on the ground with her dress over her head.

While her cellphone, clipboard, keys, and sandals were strewn all over the lawn, the realtor admits it took her a few moments to realize she was on the ground with her dress over her head in front of a client.

As she made her way to her feet, Staskal managed to put her dress back on and assess the situation. Embarrassed, the real estate agent mentions that she had to remain professional while also realizing that her client had just seen all her "lady parts." She mentions that she picked up all her stuff... and her pride.

After she finished up her appointment with her client, she headed to her car to record a Facebook video of the incident.

Still unclear on what exactly happened, Staskal admits that the gardening neighbor nearby may have gotten a show as well. The realtor states that she wondered if she fell in a hole, but couldn't find one anywhere near the incident.

Before detailing the incident in her Facebook video, Staskal admits to not being the most graceful of women. She talks about a time she fell down the stairs while showing a house, which caused her to knock her client into her lap. This ended with her client "riding" her down the stairs "like a sled."

While embarrassed, Staskal is not surprised that this happened to her. It seems as if these kinds of embarrassing incidents might be par for the course. While such a cringeworthy incident might send most people running away, this real estate agent was able to see the humor in the situation.

Her Facebook video is a good reminder that no matter what kind of embarrassing thing happens to us, we can take back some of the control over it by learning to laugh at ourselves.
