When people visit England, one of the top places that every tourist visits is Windsor Castle. People love to congregate in front of the castle in order to watch the iconic ceremony called the Changing of the Guard.

It happens every single day, and it involves the guards that protect the Queen marching together in the yard of the castle in order to switch duties to a new guard. On one particular day, however, something amazing happened on the grounds.

A tourist named Joanna Feng was visiting the castle this January when she found herself in the middle of a miracle moment.

While Joanna was visiting the grounds waiting for the ceremony, she saw a costumed little boy. The boy’s costume? A Regimen, of course! Although the boy, named Marshall Scott, is only four, he is totally obsessed with all things that have to do with the Queen’s Guards. In order for him to play out his dreams and have fun to play dress up, his parents gave him a costume so he feels like he’s part of the pack.

On Marshall’s fourth birthday, his mom decided to surprise him with a trip to see them in person! Thankfully, Joanna was there to capture rare footage of the amazing miracle when Marshall finally got to witness people that he looked up to in person for his birthday.

But the moment only got more magical when one of the guards noticed little Marshall in his costume. When the guards decided to break after their shift, Marshall gave them all a salute to show his honor and appreciation for these guards.

However, the guards are usually known for their serious demeanor while they’re working, so no one expected what was about to happen next! Since the guards are so strictly trained, not many tourists get a reaction out of them. But little Marshall did!

Before one guard left for the day, he turned to the boy to acknowledge him. He makes a gesture to allow the child to come closer to him, and Joanna knew that she had to capture this moment for the child to remember forever.

The guard was even kind enough to allow Marshall and his mother to pose for a few photographs with him! He gave Marshall one last final nod before leaving the area. You can watch a video of the moment in the video below.

We’re so happy for little Marshall getting acknowledged by one of his idols, and we hope he grows up to pursue his dreams! What do you think about Marshall’s story? Tell us in the comments and make sure to pass this cute video on to your friends and loved ones. Let's make their day as well.
