Prince Andrew married Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson on July 23rd, 1986. Although they divorced 10 years later, the two have remained friends and co-parents ever since.

To celebrate their union, their daughter Princess Eugenie took to social media to share a cute photo from their wedding day.

Princess Eugene took to Instagram last week to congratulate her parents on their wedding anniversary. In the caption, she wrote:

“Who else has ever forgotten to congratulate their parents on their wedding anniversary! I'm a day late but I wanted to celebrate my parents getting married 33 years ago... Thank you for always being the best of friends and bringing us up together.”

The post sparked a plethora of royal pictures and videos from fans of the Royal Family to help the Princess honor her parents. A GIF that was shared by twitter user @katemidletons, however, takes the cake.

The user wrote:

"Late post, but it's been 33 years since the wedding of Prince Andrew and Fergie in 1986. And so here's Queen Elizabeth running after little Prince William to stop him from getting closer to the carriage. Her Majesty as a grandma is cute":

The GIF shows an adorable scene from Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s wedding in 1986. A young and mischievous Prince William is seen chasing the carriage, which caused the Queen to run after him and pull him back to make sure the boy did not get hurt.

She might be the Queen, but she is also a grandmother; and by the looks of it, she carried out her grandmotherly duties very well that day!
