Pygmy Goat Shows Off His 'Happy Dance' And Viewers Cannot Help But Chuckle

Humans have been breeding goats for thousands of years. Over 210 different breeds of goats exist, and a vast majority of these are domesticated goats which humans have bred for a wide variety of reasons. The pygmy goat is perhaps the most peculiar of these breeds.

A popular video uploaded back in 2010, wherein a couple of recently born pgymy goats show off their dancing skills, showcases this peculiar albeit adorable character.

Due to their cuteness and their adaptability, it's no wonder that these goats today make popular pets all over the world.

Goats are naturally agile and active animals that are used to living in mountainous regions. This is also not surprising as all domesticated species are descendants of the wild goats from Eastern Europe and Southwest Asia.

It's not uncommon for newborn pygmies to start hopping around even within a week after birth. Although this looks like a dance of excitement to humans, the movement is part of the natural process of the goat growing up.

Even with this knowledge, it's difficult to not see a tiny animal dancing with sheer happiness when watching a small pygmy jump around. A true "happy dance."

There are hundreds of videos online capturing cute moments of pure pygmy happiness. Is there anyone who wouldn't love to pick up these cute animals and give them a massive hug? They're so adorable.

Pygmy goats have increased in popularity throughout the world in recent years. In addition to pygmy goats, some people have miniature pigs as pets. And of course small dogs have always been a common sight in cities.

There is a natural fascination that humans seem to have with small versions of usually bigger-sized animals. It's an interesting trend and we certainly have to admit that it makes the world just a little cuter.
