A puppy was found on the side of a street in Oaklawn and was taken in by the Beauties and Beasts rescue.

The terrier-mix was reportedly found in a bad health condition, having her eyes and mouth glued shut with super glue and a bruised abdomen.

According to 3KSN, Early one morning in Wichita, Kansas, a driver pulled their car over when they noticed a puppy lying in the middle of the road. Assuming that the poor little creature had been hit by a car, the driver was utterly horrified to discover the true extent to the puppy's injuries. The good samaritan immediately took her to the Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital of Wichita for treatment.

The terrier mix spent several days in the emergency vet in order to recover. She was taken in by the Beauty and Beasts rescue, who named her Glory. The rescue shared her story on Social Media to raise awareness.

"This was an intentional act and someone who is capable of harming an innocent little dog is extremely dangerous, they will continue this pattern of abuse on helpless victims," They wrote.

Fortunately, Glory made a speedy recovery and found a new family who took her in.

The rescue was very determined to find the perpetrator and offered a $2,000 reward for anyone who had any information which could lead to an arrest. According to 3KSN, PETA also eventually caught wind of the incident and offered $5,000 for information.

We are glad that Glory made a successful recovery and found a new home. Make sure you pass this along to your friends and family!
