There is something special about dogs. They just have a way of warming our hearts. If you are a dog lover, you probably spoil that lovely creature with all sorts of toys and treats. But what would you do if your dog won an award?

Nova is a two-year old German shepherd that recently received an award from the K-9 University. Jackie, the owner, thought of the best way to honor her dog. She decided to hold a quinceanera for the dog.

Quinceanera is a type of celebration that is used to celebrate a young girls passage onto adulthood. It's often done during the girl's 15th birthday. Since Nova received an award, she was no longer a puppy, but a responsible adult dog.

To make the event extra special, Jackie hired a popular wedding venue. She then invited her friends to come celebrate Novas special day. In true quinceanera tradition, Nova was dressed in a pink dog dress and a tiny tiara on the ears.

There was plenty of food and drinks for the humans attending the event. They socialized as Nova enjoyed the music and her owner's company. As is the norm with this celebrations, the birthday girl has to dance with her father. Jackie picked one of her male friends to dance with Nova who wasn't that bad.

On the other side of the room, there was another female canine by the name Phoebe that watched the dance in admiration. Phoebe is like Nova's adopted sister. The owner says that she may hold another quinceanera for Phoebe if she manages to get awards like her big sister.

This story shows that there're some people that just love their dogs and would do anything for them. Would you rent out a venue for your dog?
