Proud Father Receives An Incredible Surprise Gift From A Total Stranger

It's gestures like these that remind us that kindness still exists. A woman gives a man something that he isn't expecting inside the bank.

Many parents are absolutely overjoyed by their children's graduations, but Rob Edwards was especially excited about his son Cole's success. There was no one that he was too shy or afraid to tell about his baby graduating.

While in line at the bank one day, Rob decided to strike up a conversation with the woman standing next to him. He talked about Cole's graduation for a little while, and beamed with pride as he told his story. Finally one of the tellers became available, and the woman had her chance to walk up to the counter. She conducted her business with the teller and then walked off. She told him congratulations as she walked out. He was up next.

As he approached the tellers counter, he looked down at where his wallet had been sitting while he was talking to the woman. He noticed that there was a little white envelope on top of his wallet. As soon as he was done with the transaction, he remembered opened it.

What he found inside was something amazing, something that he couldn't believe somebody had left for him: a crisp new $50 bill. He realized it must have been from the woman that had been in front of him, the same woman who smiled at him on the way out the door and said, "Congratulations! I'm happy for you!"

He felt that it was a sweet gesture, but at the same time, he was a humble man. He didn't feel as though he could take money from a stranger, although her gesture was kind.

Rob ran outside to catch the woman and return her money to her. She was just getting ready to pull off when he got outside. He said to her that he could not take the money from her, but he appreciated it very much. The woman refused the money and said that she wanted to bless him. She said he glowed so much when he talked about his son graduating. That glow made her want to be a blessing to them both.

Rob was absolutely blown away by what this stranger did, so he told his story to many people and it went viral. Spread the love to your friends, family members, classmates and so on. It's a great story because it shows that chivalry and general kindness are not dead.
