The hardships we endure in life have a way of creating harsh exteriors that don’t accurately depict who we are. Unfortunately, most can’t find it within themselves to abandon their cynicism. Fortunately, the same can’t be said for Aaron Tucker, a former convict.

Tucker, a 32-year-old father, spent nearly two years behind bars for carrying an unregistered weapon. During his time within the confining walls of a prison cell, Tucker vowed to better himself for both his wife and infant son. Following his release from jail, Tucker had little to his name. In fact, his measly rations didn't exceed $2.

In the hopes of providing for his family, Tucker began his job hunt. One day, while taking the bus to an interview, Tucker noticed an overturned vehicle in the distance. Tucker kindly asked the bus driver to pull over so he could tend to the individual’s needs.

Tucker was warned that if he stepped off the bus, it would resume the trip without him.

Unfazed by this information, Tucker proceeded to aid the injured driver. Other Samaritans came to the rescue as well. Together, they managed to save the driver from the wreckage.

To stop the bleeding, Tucker offered his dress shirt. He continued to soothe the individual until medical professionals arrived on the scene.

When others caught wind of Tucker’s noble deed, they wanted to show their appreciation for his act of kindness. Karin Dale initiated a movement to honor Tucker and his nobility. There’s now a GoFundMe page dedicated to Tucker that’s racked up $50,000 in donations.
