Principal Is Escorted From The Floor And Teachers Storm Stage For Epic Routine

All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, they say. Well, some of the teacher held on to the saying one fine day at Whitmer High School in Toledo, Ohio. They interrupted the Principal’s speech while students were at the assembly just before the homecoming football game. They proceeded to escort the principal off the stage and perform an awesome flash mob dance. 

On the day of the homecoming football game, a principal's speech is hardly what students are looking forward to the most  However, on this particular day, the speech did not quite go like the students were expecting.

All of a sudden, a group of teachers came out unexpectedly and escorted the principal off the stage while he was addressing the crowd. Other teachers stormed the floor and lined themselves up in place. Then, these teachers began an epic dance that left most students speechless.

While the sounds of Bruno Mars' Uptown Funk was filling the arena, the staff of Whitmer High was busting out some serious moves. In no time, resource officers too joined the floor. The dance mob was tremendous fun and the presence of two mascots made it even more entertaining. From the expression of those watching and everybody who was dancing, you could tell that they were having the time of their lives. 

After the show, one teacher decided to conclude with a worm dance leaving every student in shock. Worm dance is a break dance where the subject lies on the floor like a snake and creates a wave-like earthworm motion. This was surely the last thing the students were expecting. Katie Peters, an author and teacher at Whitmer high school, organized the show, according to the video description. 

Through inspiring events like these, students learn the important lesson that their teachers can have a fun side to their personalities as well.
