Princess Eugenie Shares New Photographs Of Baby August As She Praises Husband Jack On Special Day

May 04, 2021 by apost team

On the occasion of Jack Brooksbank's birthday on May 3, 2021, Princess Eugenie has shared a small collection of photos on her Instagram account that give royal fans a tiny glimpse of their two-month-old son, August Philip Hawke Brooksbank. August was born in February 2020 and he is Queen Elizabeth's ninth great-grandchild and the first grandchild of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson. The baby boy is currently 11th in line to the throne, though he may not yet have a royal title.

This sweet birthday post for Brooksbank marked the first time Eugenie has posted on Instagram after her tribute to Prince Philip after his death on April 9, 2021. Philip was 99 years old, and members of the family described his passing as peaceful. Philip laid to rest in the Royal Vault at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle on April 17, 2021. The late prince was buried alongside former kings of England and other royals, the Associated Press reported.

PEOPLE reported that Eugenie and Brooksbank's first time out in public since becoming parents was on April 17, 2021, for Philip's funeral. Philip's funeral was a quiet affair with only 30 people in attendance due to the coronavirus restrictions.  The guestlist of 30 people only comprised of the closest royal family members, which naturally included many of his grandchildren. Eugenie has been very close to her grandparents, especially Elizabeth since she was young and deeply felt the loss of her grandfather.

Her most recent post for her husband's birthday shows new father Brooksbank cradling his newborn son.

Of the three new photos that Eugenie shared, two of them feature Brooksbank with his son. In the first sweet father-son moment, Brooksbank looks straight into the camera as he cradles his son in his arms. The next photo features Brooksbank snuggled close in a baby carrier in which fans can get a tiny glimpse of August's adorable face. The third photo features Brooksbank walking alone on a path by blooming flowers and a lake.

The post is captioned, "You are exceptional.. Happy Birthday my love 😍🥳❤️"

Eugenie has given glimpses into her life with Brooksbank and baby August a few times over her Instagram account. Her account also features her family members, including her "granny" Elizabeth now and then. She has used the platform to share the most special moments in her life, and in April 2021 after Philip's death, Eugenie shared a beautiful tribute to her grandfather.

Part of her caption read, "I remember learning how to cook, how to paint, what to read. I remember laughing at your jokes and asking about your spectacular life and service in the navy."

She added, "I remember incinerating the sausages and you swooping in to save the day.⁣ I remember your hands and your laugh and your favourite beer. ⁣I will remember you in your children, your grandchildren and great grandchildren. ⁣Thank you for your dedication and love for us all and especially Granny, who we will look after for you.⁣"

Brooksbank's birthday is the first time she has posted on her Instagram account since her tribute to her "Grandpa."

The couple celebrated their second anniversary in October 2020, during which time the princess shared previously unseen photos with her husband. They had been together for almost a decade before they wed. Town and Country reported that Princess Eugenie met Brooksbank while skiing in Verbier, Switzerland, in 2010, and he proposed to her in 2018 in Nicaragua.

The collection of photos included one photo from their wedding which was taken from behind, Princess Eugenie and her husband share an intimate kiss after their wedding, while in another they are seen beaming together in each other's arms. Apart from the new wedding photos, Eugenie also shared pictures of the couple's holidays and outings.

For her wedding, Princess Eugenie chose to wear a custom-made dress by British label, Peter Pilotto. She loaned the incredible Greville Emerald Kokoshnik Tiara from her grandmother and paired it with matching emerald earrings, which were a gift from the groom, reports PEOPLE. She chose not to wear a traditional veil and specifically chose a dress with a low back to proudly display the scar from a previous scoliosis surgery on her back.

Eugenie currently stands 10th in line to the throne. However, both she and her older sister, Princess Beatrice, are living ordinary lives despite their royal titles. They both hold full-time jobs and do not carry out royal duties on behalf of the Queen, reports Woman and Home. They also do not receive any cheques from the Sovereign Grant, the government-supported fund that finances Elizabeth's official duties. Eugenie works as a director at the London art gallery Hauser & Wirth and PEOPLE reports that Brooksbank works with tequila business Casamigos which was founded by George Clooney.
