Royal couple Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank have had a wonderful year, as the couple welcomed their first child, a baby boy, on Tuesday, Feb. 9. Named August Philip Hawke Brooksbank, the infant is Queen Elizabeth's ninth great-grandchild and the first grandchild of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson. The baby boy is currently 11th in line to the throne, though he does not have a royal title.

The couple announced the arrival with an Instagram post of a black-and-white family photo and a simple caption of three blue hearts. Buckingham Palace issued a statement after the birth.

Ever since, Eugenie has been posting photos of her adorable new son on her Instagram channel, including on the occasion of Brooksbank's birthday on May 3, where the princess shared a small collection of photos that gave royal fans a tiny glimpse of their then-2-month-old son.

The sweet birthday post marked the first time Eugenie had posted on Instagram after her tribute to her grandfather Prince Philip following his death on April 9. People reported that Eugenie and Brooksbank's first time out in public since becoming parents was on April 17, for Philip's funeral. The guestlist of 30 people only comprised the closest royal family members, which naturally included many of his grandchildren. Eugenie has been very close to her grandparents, especially Elizabeth since she was young and deeply felt the loss of her grandfather.

Now, to mark the occasion of Father's Day this past weekend, Eugenie posted to her Instagram once again, this time honoring her husband with a series of photos.

Father's Day is always a special day, but especially so this year for Jack Brooksbank, 35, who celebrated his first one as a dad. He and Princess Eugenie, 31, welcomed their now-4-month-old son, August Philip Hawke Brooksbank on Feb. 9 at Portland Hospital in London, which happens to be the same hospital where Eugenie was born. At the time, Buckingham Palace issued a statement after the birth, writing:

"Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie was safely delivered of a son today, 9th February 2021, at 8:55 a.m. at The Portland Hospital. The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Duke of York, Sarah, Duchess of York, and Mr. and Mrs. George Brooksbank have been informed and are delighted with the news. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well."

Eugenie has embraced becoming a mom with open arms, as she's shared moments with her new son via her personal Instagram channel. Now, she honored her husband on his first Father's Day, by dedicating a special post to Brooksbank. Posting four photos, the first image shows Brooksbank pushing a pram with a big smile on his face, the second is of the young family smiling widely to the camera while Eugenie carries August in a sling, the third is of Brooksbank and August, while the last one is an adorable candid image of Brooksbank taking a nap while August does the same on his chest! The princess captioned her post:

"Happy Father's Day to you my love.. you are the ultimate father to our boy!! 😘"

Eugenie's touching Father's Day post to Brooksbank is not that different from a birthday post she shared in honor of her husband on May 3. Alongside three images of Brooksbank — in which he's holding his infant son in two of them — Eugenie wrote:

"You are exceptional.. Happy Birthday my love 😍🥳❤️"

Clearly, the young family is enamored with each other and their infant son and it's heartwarming to see.

Meanwhile, Eugenie wasn't the only royal to publicly celebrate Father's Day. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge shared a stop-motion video on their social media accounts that honored the fathers and grandfathers in their lives. One image from 1990 showed Prince William and Prince Harry with their father, who's wearing a kilt, as they lounge on a grass lawn, while another image shows Middleton and her father on her wedding day. Another photo honored Prince Philip, in which Queen Elizabeth II and her late husband are pictured surrounded by many of their great-grandchildren. The final photo showed William in military uniform surrounded by his own three children.

The official royal family Instagram account also posted a moving photo that shows Queen Elizabeth II in 1951 alongside both her father King George VI and her late husband, as they all watch on as a young Prince Charles plays on a statue. The caption to the photo reads:

"To all dads everywhere, we wish you a very special Father’s Day."

Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall also shared a special post that honored both of their own fathers, as well as one image that showed Prince Charles with both of his sons, Prince William and Prince Harry.
