In an appearance on Lorraine, a daytime TV show, Julia Samuel revealed that Prince William and Harry present themselves to the public just as they are in real life.

Julia Samuel is not only a friend of Princess Diana but also the godmother to Prince George and a certified psychotherapist. On March 3rd, she went on the show to talk about her relationship with the royal family as well as a new mental health campaign.

Psychotherapist Julia Samuel, 60, met Princess Diana at a dinner party back in 1987 where the two became close friends. Since then, she has been close to the royal family and is the godmother of Prince George.

Julia told daytime TV show, Lorraine, that what Prince Harry and William show in public is "very authentic" and true to how they present themselves in real life. Speaking of the late royal Diana, Julia said:

"She was amazing. She broke a lot of the stigma and taboo around mental health. I think what they and she have been very good at raising awareness that mental illness is invisible."

Julia also said that what's going on with the brothers now–which could have been an allusion to Megxit–simply shows the "complexities of families." Julia's appearance on Lorraine follows Harry and Meghan's first face-to-face conversation with the Queen at Windsor Castle since the announcement that the couple will step down as senior royals.

Julia said:

"I think we all do know them in a way, from those young boys. I think what they sow in public is what they're like. So they're very authentic...I think they represent the complexity of families. Nobody has the perfect family and it's not about having disagreements, but talking about it and communicating about it; open families are the best."

Meghan and Harry's last official event as senior royals is scheduled for next week at the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey. This is the first time the Sussex will appear with the royal family since their initial Megxit announcement back in January.
