Much like other girls her age, Princess Charlotte has her eye on one thing for her Christmas present...a pony. Just like Queen Elizabeth II, Charlotte has taken a particular liking to horses. However her parents aren't quite sure if she's old enough to be getting her own pony.

A source close to the royals told Closer magazine, that Charlotte asked her parents for a pony for Christmas. However, Prince William has his doubts as he believes Charlotte is too young to be riding. Instead, the Cambridges have bought the little princess a toy riding centre which has accessories.

If Charlotte is anything like her great grandmother then she will be riding horses for her whole lifetime. At 93-years-old, the Queen doesn't have any desire to abandon her love for equestrian activities. However, she does pick and choose what type of weather she will ride in.

Big brother to Princess Charlotte, Prince George has his own passion he's pursuing: tennis. The source said “George is really into tennis and has asked for a new racket and a football table.” Kate Middleton and Prince William will also be getting both Charlotte and George cookery sets "because they love making a mess in the kitchen!”
