Princess Charlotte Looks Just Like Another Royal—And It’s Not Kate Or William

Princess Charlotte is arguably the cutest of the Royals. At just five years old, the royal has proven she has attitude, class, and a whole lot of style. As she celebrated her birthday this year in May, her mom Kate Middleton shared photos of the young princess on the Kensington Royal Instagram page, where the youngster caused quite the stir with Royal fans for her resemblance to a beloved Royal–who aren’t her parents, that is. 

Indeed, followers took the time to point out that Charlotte looks almost exactly like Queen Elizabeth II’s beloved niece, Lady Sarah Chatto. We do have to admit, the resemblance is uncanny!

Royal Commentator Victoria Arbiter pointed the resemblance out in May through a twitter post, where she shared side-by-side photos of Charlotte and Lady Sarah at aged five.

In case you were wondering, Lady Sarah Chatto is the only daughter of Princess Margaret, who is Queen Elizabeth’s late sister, and Antony Armstrong-Jones. Lady Sarah turned 56 years old on May 1, just one day before her look-alike Charlotte turned five.

You might be wondering, do they really look that much alike? Well, we dug up a few more photos of Lady Sarah to further investigate–and the results did not disappoint. In the photo above, you can see Lady Sarah in 1967 with her mom Princess Margaret and her brother, Linley.

Just compare it to the photo below of Princess Charlotte, and well, if you can’t see the resemblance, you might just want to see your ophthalmetrist. 

Arbiter’s tweet has since sparked a huge conversation amongst Royal fans. Although the resemblance to Lady Sarah is striking, fans pointed out that the little Princess also looks much like other royal relatives, like her dad, Prince William. 

"Charlotte is William’s mini-me! She’s the only one of Cambridge kids who resembles him. And she has a lot of Diana’s in her,” wrote one Twitter user.

“I get so confused with Charlotte…I see Lady Sarah a lot, but I also see a faint glimpse of Catherine in this photo. Also, the Queen and William and Diana are there as well,” wrote another.
