Princess Charlotte Correcting Her Brothers On Buckingham Palace Balcony Is A Show Stopper

The second child and only daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Princess Charlotte, is slowly growing up into a delightful young girl. With each year that passes, Charlotte's personality comes out more.
In fact, she's proving to be the cheekiest member of the royal family. Besides her fiery personality, Charlotte also bears a striking resemblance to various family members of hers. This includes her father, her late grandmother, Princess Diana, and her great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II. Fans have long drawn the resemblance between her and Elizabeth since the little royal was a baby.
Born on May 2, 2015, at St Mary's Hospital in London, Charlotte has already made an impact in England as one of the children in the Cambridge family. She was born second into her family, following her older brother. Several landmarks were illuminated pink to honor her arrival following her birth, including the London Eye and Tower Bridge. There were also salutes at Hyde Park and the Tower of London. Just a few days later, it was announced that Charlotte's full name was Charlotte Elizabeth Diana, which honored both Diana and the current reigning monarch and her great-grandmother, the Queen.
Charlotte is the middle child of the Cambridge family, as she has an older brother, Prince George, and a younger brother, Prince Louis. She is also Prince William and Kate Middleton's only daughter and is currently fourth in line of succession to the throne, following her grandfather, Prince Charles, her father and her older brother. While being the middle child, Charlotte has shown that she is quite the leader in her family.

As Charlotte gets older, she is really growing into her looks. As is tradition, a portrait of the princess was released for her 6th birthday. Taken by Kate, who, the Observer reported, is often hailed as the "unofficial royal photographer," Charlotte looked truly radiant as she smiled brightly for the camera. She was beaming as she donned a blue floral dress with her hair falling over her shoulders.
Even though she was only six years old at the time, the young princess looked quite grown up and was the spitting image of her father in the photo. The uncanny resemblance to William — from their eyes down to their smile — showed that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. We're sure Charlotte will take other great traits of her father's along with his good looks.
In an Instagram post from May 1, 2022, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge posted a new photo by Kate herself ahead of Princess Charlotte's birthday. The caption read:
"Seven tomorrow! 🎂📸The Duchess."
She is very confident for a middle child. In fact, her mother said she is "the one in charge" of their household, according to Samantha Burge, the wife of a Royal Marine commando who spent time with the duchess and spoke to People. She added:
"(The duchess said) they are both becoming really good friends, George and Charlotte."
Charlotte's big personality is complemented by her sweet older brother, Prince George, and her darling younger brother, Prince Louis. But while the young princess has shown that she is willing to defend her brothers, she has gotten into a handful of tiffs with them as well, most notably with George, over which songs they want to listen to in the morning. Even royal children are just like us, it seems.

During the Platinum Jubilee, which took place in June of 2022, Charlotte was caught correcting her oldest brother on his posture. During the United Kingdom’s national anthem, “God Save the Queen,” the royal family stood on the balcony for the world to see. During this special moment, Prince Geroge placed his hands on the balcony ledge; it was then that his little sister tried to get his attention.
Princess Charlotte sweetly nudged her older brother to politely tell him to correct his posture. Then, George quickly straightened his posture and put his hands down by his side. The brother and sister moment quickly went viral, bringing a lot of attention to the youngest family members of the royal family. This wasn’t the only moment that Charlotte took charge of her brothers during the Jubilee, either.
A few days prior, while the three children rode in a carriage- she displayed the same maternal instincts of correcting one of her brothers. As the children rode through the parade, waving to the crowd, they eventually came to a stop except for Prince Louis. He continued to enthusiastically keep waving when Charlotte placed her hand on his. In the video, she swiftly yet gently pulled his hand down. It was safe to say he got the message to stop waving.
Just like her mother and father blazed their own ways in the monarchy, Charlotte will be a trailblazer in her own right. Both her parents have opened up and admitted that they see a bright future for their only daughter.
Closer Weekly stated that author Kate Nicholl said, "'I think she's going to be trouble when she's older," Will once joked. But Kate said what they're all thinking: "It's very special having a little girl. I feel very, very lucky.'"
