Princess Charlotte Bears Resemblance To Childhood Momento Of The Late Princess Diana In New Post

A photo of Princess Charlotte posted by the royal family's on their Twitter account on Sunday shows the five-year-old bearing a striking resemblance to her late grandmother, Princess Diana.

Since turning five in May, Princess Charlotte is proving to be the cheekiest member of the Royal family. Besides her fiery personality, Charlotte also bears a striking resemblance to other members of the royal family besides her parents.

A tweet by @KensingtonRoyal on Sunday showed the princess with her dad and two brothers posing on a swing, a photo taken by her mother Kate Middleton. The post read:

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to share a new picture of The Duke with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis ahead of The Duke’s birthday tomorrow. The picture was taken earlier this month by The Duchess.

The two share the same face and eye shape, and a remarkably similar nose. Toddler Diana and Charlotte also have the same adorable full cheeks, which also seems to be a trait they share with a young Queen Elizabeth.

A fan on Twitter has posted side-by-side photos of Princess Charlotte and her grandmother Princess Diana and has noticed an uncanny resemblance. The user wrote:

I know I do this every time a new photo of Charlotte is published but Charlotte has William’s smile that is really Diana’s smile. Her smile is sooo Diana. Also, Charlotte is a beautiful little girl.

Princess Charlotte was kept out of the public eye for a while after she was born in 2015, so it is an absolute delight to see her popping up in the news and on the Kensington Palace Instagram page.

Prince William has said that Charlotte loves to dance, just like his mother, and that she has a similar taste in pets as Diana. Princess Diana reportedly had two hamsters when she was a child, and Charlotte now has a hamster of her own named Marvin.
