Princess Beatrice's Husband Wishes Her Happy Birthday, Says He Loves Her With All His Heart

Princess Beatrice, the Duke and Duchess of York's eldest daughter, will celebrate her 33rd birthday on August 8. Despite Prince Philip's tragic passing and the global catastrophe coronavirus has brought upon the world, Beatrice and Edoardo have had some happy moments to celebrate this year.

First of all, this year will be quite important for Beatrice, as she is currently expecting her first baby with husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. The 33-year-old's child, who is set to be born in late 2021, will be Queen Elizabeth II's 12th great-grandchild. The announcement of Beatrice's pregnancy comes nearly a year after the two lovebirds tied the knot.

Princess Beatrice and Edoardo said "I do" in front of their closest relatives and friends at the All Saints Chapel, Windsor Great Park in 2020. The couple had originally planned to marry at the Chapel Royal at St James's Palace, London in May 2020 — around the same time they announced that they were expecting their first child. However, the wedding was scrapped as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. According to The Sun, the ceremony was conducted with strict social distancing measures in place. Photos released from the day show a radiant and beautiful Beatrice wearing a tiara and dress that she borrowed from the queen.

While the pandemic might make it difficult for Beatrice to have a massive celebration, especially given the fact that she's pregnant, she's sure to celebrate with her husband, whom she has known for many years.

In light of Beatrice's 33rd birthday, we'll take a look at her touching relationship with Edoardo and her life before meeting prince charming.

According to Town & CountryEdoardo's family has been close with Beatrice's parents for at least eight years, as Beatrice attended Edoardo's stepfather's funeral in 2013. Once they got reacquainted in 2018, the two started dating, enjoying museums together and holding hands together while strolling through New York.

The princess was born Beatrice Elizabeth Mary on quite a special date and quite a special time on August 8, 1988 at 8:18 p.m. She was the Duke and Duchess of York's first child and the queen's fifth grandchild. Like most members of the royal family, Beatrice has an elite educational background, which began at a young age. Her private education started with Upton House School in Windsor, eventually graduating from St. George's School in Ascot with A-Levels in drama, history and film studies.

Beatrice continued her liberal arts education at Goldsmiths, University of London, which she graduated from in 2011. Like her sister Eugenie, Beatrice has had quite a varied career, dabbling in sales at Selfridges, trying public relations out while working for the Foriegn Office and working briefly as an actress for the film "The Young Victoria." Beatrice also spends some of her time doing philanthropic work, such as supporting the charities Children in Crisis and UNICEF.

However, one of the most momentous and meaningful moments of Beatrice's life has to be her marriage to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, "a count" who is a descendant of Italian nobility. Edoardo romantically proposed to Beatrice in 2019 while they were on vacation in Italy, a fitting proposal for Italian royalty.

"We are extremely happy to be able to share the news of our recent engagement. We are both so excited to be embarking on this life adventure together and can't wait to be married," Beatrice and Edoardo wrote in their engagement announcement. "We share so many similar interests and values and we know this will stand us in great stead for the years ahead, full of love and happiness."

Eugenie, Beatrice's younger sister, took to Instagram to congratulate the couple back in 2019.

"I'm so happy for you my dearest big sissy and dear Edo. It's been a long time coming and you two are meant to be," she wrote.

As Beatrice celebrates her 33rd birthday today — her second after marrying Edoardo — members of the royal family are also wishing her the best for her special day and upcoming pregnancy. And of course, her loving husband has also chimed in with birthday wishes.

Sharing a black and white picture of him and his wife on Instagram, Mozzi posted: "Happy Birthday my love. I love you with all my heart ❤️"

The picture features the happy couple smiling at the camera on a windswept beach. A beaming Beatrice is nestled into her husband arms and both look perfectly content to be just where they are.

It's likely that another round of well wishes will be in order in just a few months, as Beatrice's baby bump is growing by the day. According to an official statement, Beatrice and Edoardo's first child is expected in the autumn of this year.
