Princess Beatrice Rocks Elegant Pearl Hair Clips As She Gives Emotional New Interview

Last Friday, Princess Beatrice spoke to the Made By Dyslexia charity in a candid interview covering her experience growing up with dyslexia.

The Royal sported a cute pale-blue number and a statement pearled hair clip for the interview, which was posted by the charity on their Twitter account last week.

Princess Beatrice began by acknowledging her own luck for being able to attend a “nurturing” and “supporting" school. According to Beatrice, it was the learning that was difficult for her, as she found it difficult to catch up with her peers.

“I would describe the actual day to day learning side of things—very challenging," the 31-year-old revealed.

“We had different colored books to describe where your reading levels had got to, and I was always on the white books.”

She continued by saying that it was discouraging to see her friends progress to other colors while she stalled behind.

"My best friends were always on the yellow books or the green books, they were so far ahead," she said.

"And I think at that stage, those moments of doubt just pop into your head,'I'm not good enough, I'm not smart enough, why am I not like the others?'"

The Princess’s honest account of her struggles with dyslexia prompted fans to voice their support for her on social media and praised her for her courage.

"Awful about the reading schemes," wrote one Twitter user. "I remember my son's prep being quite good about hiding the books-until they framed my son as 'exceptionally weak' across the board because of his reading. I'm now doing my BDA Level 5 to help him and other dyslexic learners. Thanks for sharing."
