Princess Beatrice: How Royal Birthday Girl Experienced A Year Of Heartache

Aug 08, 2019 by apost team

Princess Beatrice, the daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, recently celebrated her 31st birthday. It was a turbulent year for the Princess, as she went through a great deal of heartbreak.

Princess Beatrice split from Dave Clark, her long-time beau of 10 years in 2016 and the Express reported that Beatrice was “devastated." To add salt to the wound, within a matter of months of their break-up Clark met and got engaged to advertising executive Lynn Anderson according to E! News. Clark and Anderson married in 2018, just a few months before Beatrice’s sister Eugenie was set to tie the knot.

It was also hard for Beatrice when her younger sister Eugenie married Jack Brooksbank in a lavish wedding at St. George’s Chapel in London in 2018.

Although 2018 seemed like an emotionally turbulent time for the Princess, 2019 has definitely been her year with a new man on her arm. Beatrice has moved on with 34-year-old multi-millionaire property tycoon Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. An insider told People, “She’s completely head over heels.”

Royal family members wished Beatrice a happy birthday on social media. The royal family’s Instagram said:

“Today is Princess Beatrice of York’s 31st Birthday. Princess Beatrice is the first child of @hrhthedukeofyork and Sarah, Duchess of York, and fifth grandchild of The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh.”

While her sister Eugenie wrote a jokingly endearing message,

“You have been bossing it since before I was born and continue to be the most wonderful person, friend and big sister... Happy Birthday to you Beabea!”
