Princess Beatrice finally decided on a date for her wedding to her fiancée Edoardo Mapell Mozzi. The Queen’s approval has been given for the particular date, along with agreeing to let the Princess reveal the details in the second week of January of next year.

A source told the Daily Mail, "Bea and Edo will finally announce their wedding date in the second week of January. The date has been described as 'early summer', just before the summer social season kicks off."

The Royal Ascot, held on June 16, one of the Queen’s favorite events, is not to be interrupted, so it is thought the event will be in early June.

The Guards’ Chapel in St. James Park was at the top of the list, and the couple had told their closest friends, but now it seems that’s no longer under consideration due to its historically long waiting list. The chapel was also the same location that Camilla and Andrew Parker Bowles’ wed in 1973.

"Only three weeks ago, friends were expecting to watch Bea walk down the aisle at The Guards Chapel, but that location is now looking unlikely," the source told the Daily Mail.

There must be something in the air as Princess Beatrice’s wedding will be the third royal wedding in the past few years, and all of them were of the Queen’s grandchildren.
