Although the main royal news has been about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's bombshell announcement about leaving the royal family, another royal recently had a little issue of her own. Zara Tindall, the Queen's granddaughter, just got her driving license suspended after getting caught speeding.

Zara Tindall was just handed down a 6-month suspension on her license after being caught driving 90 mph in a 70. Although this usually just means a ticket for other drivers, other drivers may not have already had 9 points on their licenses as Tindall had. The ticket put 4 more points on the royals license leading her to cross the 12 point mark which means one's driving license is banned.

Prosecutor Farley Turner told the BBC, "Because Mrs. Tindall already has nine points on her license she was unable to accept a fixed penalty for this offense." The 38-year-old had put the pedal to the metal in her Land Rover in Daglingworth, U.K.
Besides the 6 month ban Tindall must also pay £666 ($865) and a victim fee of £151($196). Ironically enough, Tindall's mother, Princess Anne who is the Queen's sister has also received a ticket on the same road in 2001 according to the BBC.
