Prince William Ushers In Final Birthday Of His 30s

Jun 21, 2021 by apost team

Happy birthday to Prince William! June 21, 2021, marks the day that the Duke of Cambridge turns 39 years old. It is believed that Kate Middleton may pull out all the stops to help her husband celebrate his birthday this year. It has been a difficult year for members of the royal family following the death of Prince Philip in April 2021, followed by the allegations of bullying and racism within the royal family by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, which has led to a major rift between William and Harry as well as Prince Charles and Harry.

While only time may tell if the brothers will be able to mend their relationship, it is clear that the rift has been hard on both of them. Harry welcomed his daughter, Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor earlier this month, which has brought some happiness to the royal family. Named after her great grandmother and late grandmother, Lilibet has brought renewed hope that the royal family will be able to heal the rift and come together once again.

For the time being, William will be celebrating his birthday with his immediate family, as coronavirus restrictions continue to be in place in the UK. He may not be able to meet his father or grandmother at this time. However, that has certainly not stopped other members of the royal family from sending in their wishes on social media. William is certainly deeply loved by his family as well as the public. Join us in wishing the Duke of Cambridge a very happy birthday!

Express UK reported that according to royal expert Kate Nicholl, the Duchess of Cambridge will likely "pull out all the stops" to ensure that William feels appreciated on his birthday after a tough year. She also said,

"Kate always makes birthdays and celebrations special for William and the children. She's very much like her mother Carole in that respect. She'll be aware that this year has been tough for William and will want both his birthday and Father's Day to be special for him."

For the Cambridges, nothing is more important than their family. Nicholl added that "Kate keeps William very grounded and she likes to show how important he is to her and the children. Especially after everything they've been through this year. It's only brought them closer."

The news outlet also reported that since two of their three children, Prince George, seven, Princess Charlotte, six, and Prince Louis, three, are currently at school in London, it is almost certain that the family will be spending the day at Kensington Palace for some time.

Members of the royal family have already begun to send in their wishes to the Duke of Cambridge, with the official Royal Family Twitter leading the way. Queen Elizabeth was one of the first to wish him a happy birthday today as she tweeted, "Wishing The Duke of Cambridge a very Happy Birthday today! #HappyBirthdayHRH."

Prince Charles and Duchess Camilla also shared their wishes on Twitter by writing, "A very Happy Birthday to The Duke of Cambridge!" Charles shared a rare photo of William as a baby, and it is all kinds of adorable!

William was born on June 21, 1982, to the Prince of Wales and his then-wife, Diana, Princess of Wales at the Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital, London. The following morning, his parents debuted the newborn Prince to the world on the steps of the hospital for his very first photo-op, which is a tradition when it comes to royal babies.

At just nine months old, William joined his parents on his very first Royal Tour in a 6-week-long visit in Australia and New Zealand. According to Hello Magazine, the prince took part in the tour at the request of Diana. The decision was controversial at the time, as the first and second in line to the throne were to travel together.

William was only 15 years old when Diana tragically passed away after a harrowing car crash. The loss of their mother was especially devastating for William and Harry due to the nature of the loss as well as the media frenzy that came right after. The photograph of two young boys walking at the funeral procession is haunting even today.

Through the years, William has shown immense strength and grace despite the tragedies that have come into his life. Along with his wife, Kate, William has become one of the most popular royals today. He has embraced his destiny as the future king and has been an unwavering point of support for his grandmother and the Crown.

While only time will tell how William celebrated his 39th birthday today, we are sure that he will enjoy spending time with his family in London.
