Prince William gave viewers an unexpected glimpse into family life when he revealed the television series that captured Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis’s attention. During an appearance on “The Graham Norton Show“ on Oct. 23, 2026, the Prince of Wales explained that his family enjoys BBC One’s “The Celebrity Traitors,” a celebrity edition of the hit psychological reality competition.
“I love it, the family love it. Charlotte and Louis are obsessed with it. It’s really good telly,” William said, singling out his daughter Charlotte, 11, and younger son Louis, 8.
Hosted by Claudia Winkleman, the series follows famous contestants attempting to identify secret Traitors among their group. The Faithful must work out whom they can trust, while the Traitors try to avoid detection. The mix of intrigue, unusual challenges and surprise eliminations has made the format a talking point well beyond the castle where the competition takes place.
William’s remarks offered a lighthearted detail about the family he shares with Catherine, Princess of Wales. Their eldest child, Prince George, 13, began attending Eton College as a boarder on Sept. 8, 2026, with both parents accompanying him on his first day.
The prince also had a personal connection to one of the show’s contestants. He crossed paths with actor and presenter Ross Kemp after the season’s opening episode and decided to test how jumpy the on-screen experience had made him. Kemp, known for his role in “EastEnders,” had been wary of physical contact from fellow contestants, fearing an apparently harmless gesture might conceal a deadly twist within the game.
William’s account of their encounter gave Graham Norton and the audience another reason to laugh.

“I saw Ross Kemp the day after the first episode and I couldn’t help but try – in the most appropriate way – to touch him to see what reaction I got from him,” Prince William told Norton. “Turns out he was really jumpy!”
Kemp’s suspicion was not entirely misplaced. On the show, he was unsettled when singer Leigh-Anne Pinnock touched his arm and when actor Bella Ramsey put a captain’s hat on his head during a challenge. Both moments fed his anxiety about the competition’s secret rules.
Outside the studio, William and Kemp had appeared together in Ilminster, Somerset, on Oct. 6, 2026, for the launch of Ready Together, a National Emergencies Trust initiative designed to help UK communities prepare for emergencies including floods and wildfires.
William’s appearance on “The Graham Norton Show” also spotlighted the Earthshot Prize, the environmental initiative he founded in 2020. Joining him were actor Cate Blanchett, a member of the Earthshot Prize Council; actor Hannah Waddingham, who hosted its 2023 awards; and conservationist Robert Irwin, an Earthshot ambassador. Singer Jorja Smith performed on the program.
William explained that discouraging accounts of environmental problems inspired him to look for a more optimistic way to recognize solutions. Earthshot awards five winners £1 million each to help expand their work. Its 2026 awards ceremony was scheduled for Nov. 17, 2026, in Mumbai, India.
The conversation also turned to William’s own entertainment preferences. He described music and movies as ways to unwind and praised director Christopher Nolan’s films, particularly “The Dark Knight” trilogy, for balancing action with deeper themes. Between a love of cinema and the children's enthusiasm for “The Celebrity Traitors,” the interview suggested that popular entertainment is a familiar pleasure in the Wales household.
