Prince William Pens Letter On Behalf Of Himself And Prince Harry To Princess Diana's Charity

The Diana Award has been a long-standing charity, created to honor Princess Diana. It has been helping children and young people achieve great things since 1997 and now her two sons, Prince William and Prince Harry have pledged to support the organization during this uncertain time.

The Diana Award was set up in memory of Princess Diana following her death in 1997. As outlined on their website, the charity aims to "develop and inspire positive change in the lives of young people."

Prince William, 37, is joining forces with his younger brother, Prince Harry, 35, to support the charity. According to Town & Country, the Duke of Cambridge wrote a letter on behalf of himself and Harry to The Diana Award, to let them know that even in these turbulent times both he and his brother were still dedicated to the cause.

In his letter, William wrote:

"I wanted to write to send my support and thanks to all the staff, volunteers and supporters of The Diana Award. My brother and I remain ever appreciative of the work you do to foster, develop and support young people, particularly at this time of uncertainty. Whilst you are finding yourselves adapting to new ways of working there is no doubt that your support for young people, through what will be anxious and unsettling times for many, is as important as ever."

Although Harry officially stepped down from being a senior royal on March 31, he has continued to play a big role in his royal charities and patronages. It is good to see the brothers maintaining their relationship, even though they now live so far apart. William is residing in his Norfolk residence, and Harry is in LA.

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic William and Kate, and Harry and Meghan have been joining video calls with their respective patronages and charitable organizations from their homes, reports Town & Country.

We are sure Princess Diana would be proud of her sons providing support to ensure this charity can continue its good work. Pass this positive story to your friends and family.
