Prince William Mails Photo Card And "Warmest Thanks And Best Wishes" In Response To Royal Fans’ 37th Birthday Messages To The Duke

The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, recently celebrated his 37th birthday on June 21. Birthday messages pour in for royal family members from fans all over the world in the form of cards and letters. As per royal tradition, they receive a response. Even though it is a few months later, well-wishers are now receiving their responses from Prince William.
The blog “Gert’s Royal Replies” posted photos of the response received from Prince William. It is a typed card with a photo on the front from a 2017 GQ interview. Gertrude the blogger noted that the same photo was used in both the 2017 and 2018 responses, which is typical for Clarence House to do.

The back of the card has a type-written message from the Prince along with the official Kensington Palace logo of a black crown. The lovely message reads:
“The Duke of Cambridge is most grateful to you for writing as you did on the occasion of his 37th birthday. It really was most thoughtful of you and His Royal Highness sends you his warmest thanks and best wishes.”
The black crown logo can also be seen on the official envelope of Kensington Palace along with the postmark from the court post office at Buckingham Palace.
For those who have not received their response yet, Gertrude encourages people to “be patient.” In response to a commenter, she says:
”It takes Clarence House time to send out replies to everyone. I know I've seen people get Archie's birth reply as recently as last week. So, they are still working on that. I only just got William's birthday reply and I haven't gotten Meghan's or George's birthday replies yet.”
