Kensington Palace has announced that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will attend this year's British Academy of Film and Television Arts Film Awards held on February 2nd at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

The Palace posted the announcement on Twitter along with a photo of the royal couple from last year's event. The two are no strangers to attending the BAFTAs, this being the 10th year that Prince William is in place as the academy's president according to Metro.

"We are so pleased The Duke and Duchess will join us to celebrate another outstanding year in film," said the academy's Chief Executive, Amanda Berry OBE to the publication. "We are immensely grateful to Their Royal Highnesses for their continued support and we look forward to welcoming them to the Film Awards on Sunday 2 February."

Kate wore an Alexander McQueen, one of her favorite designers, to the 2017 festivities, along with gorgeous oval drop earrings and the Edinburgh Wedding Gift Bracelet which was on loan from the Queen.

2018

2018 marked the year that the Duchess was pregnant with young Prince Louis and she arrived dressed in a flowing dark green gown from Jenny Packham. The black belt cut across her figure and proudly accentuated her baby bump.
