Prince William And Kate Middleton Reveal Cirque du Soleil Date

During their recent trip to Ireland, Prince William and Kate Middleton were chatting with tightrope walkers when William revealed that he and Kate had recently been on a date together in London and many think he was referring to Cirque du Soleil. The Cambridge royal couple got sporty during the special event at Tribeton for Galway 2020, the host of the European Capital of Culture for Ireland. 

According to BBC, Kate Middleton and her husband Prince William were partaking in some sports at a Gaelic Athletic Association (GAA) club in Galway, Ireland when the couple got chatty with some tightrope walkers and revealed that they had recently been on a date. According to Hello! magazine, William revealed that the couple had seen Cirque du Soleil at Royal Albert Hall, which is not far from their Kensington Palace home.

While chatting with the performers, Kate talked about her daughter, Princess Charlotte, and her new hobby. Middleton told the tightrope walkers:

"Charlotte is really into gymnastics, she's doing cartwheels, handstands, everything. It's so good for their basic skills of balance and coordination."

William then revealed the couples' recent date by chiming-in and telling the tightrope walkers:

"And their flexibility, it's really good for their long-term health, isn't it? We went to watch the Cirque du Soleil recently, it was amazing."

The Cirque du Soleil show ran from January 12th through March 1st, at Royal Albert Hall, not far from Kensington Palace, so it's likely that this was the show to which William was referencing when speaking to the tightrope walkers. It wasn't made clear whether or not the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge brought along their two kids or went alone, but either way, it wasn't a royal-related engagement.

While chatting with the various performers, Prince William even showed-off his secret talent for juggling. It seems that the Cambridge couple has struck a balance between work and play, and their Ireland trip really gave them the opportunity to get sporty.
