Harry gave a speech about a cause that is near and dear to his heart, as the Queen's grandson has earned the ranks of Major Lieutenant Commander and Squadron Leader during a 12-month trial period he did with the British military. Harry said:
“I feel incredibly lucky to be able to count myself as one of you, and I’m deeply proud to have served among you as Captain Wales,” he said. “A lot of you tonight have told me you have my back. Well, I’m also here to tell you, I’ve always got yours.”

The engagement was one of the last royal events Harry and Meghan will do before the official step-down initiates on April 1st. The Endeavor Fund Awards is an annual event that honors wounded servicemen and women along with veterans who have achieved incredible milestones in their rehabilitation journey via sport or other adventurous challenges. The even aligns well with other veteran causes Harry has supported in the past and his military career.
