Prince Harry Remarked He's "Rightly Proud" To Serve Queen Elizabeth II At Awards Speech

Harry said that he is "rightly proud" to be able to serve the Queen and the UK during his speech at the Endeavor Fund Awards on Thursday night at the Mansion House in London. As a part of their last royal engagements before April 1st, Meghan and Harry attended the annual event that recognizes servicemen and women along with veterans. Harry's regards towards the Queen reflect back on his military history as a royal.

Harry said that he is still "rightly proud" to have served the Queen his speech at the Endeavor Awards on Thursday night at the Mansion House in London. As a part of his first joint royal engagement with Meghan since their move to Canada, Harry and Meghan attended the annual awards that recognize servicemen and women as well as veterans.

Prince Harry said during his speech:

“Meghan and I are so happy to be back here with you, to celebrate each and every one of you for your achievements, your service and your resilience. For some, the military community represents a brotherhood or sisterhood that no other organization can provide, and for others, it’s a way of life which you never want to leave. For a lot of us, it’s both. Being able to serve Queen and Country is something we all are rightly proud of, and it never leaves us. Once served, always serving!”

The engagement was one of the last royal events Harry and Meghan will do before the official step-down initiates on April 1st. The Endeavor Fund Awards is an annual event that honors wounded servicemen and women along with veterans who have achieved incredible milestones in their rehabilitation journey via sport or other adventurous challenges. The regards he gave towards the queen reflects back on Prince Harry's military career.
