Prince Harry Opens Up About Missing His Mother After Baby Archie's Birth

Unless you've been off the grid for the past couple of weeks, you probably know that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have just welcomed their firstborn son.
The bundle of joy arrived on May 6th, 2019. The baby’s name was kept away from the public for some time before revealing it to be Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
Unable to contain his excitement for being a father, Prince Harry spoke to the TODAY show about welcoming his firstborn son, along with the struggle of not having his mother around to meet little Archie and guide the Duke through parenthood.

Although Prince Harry now has the immense responsibility of being a father, his royal responsibilities have not been put on hold.
Just three days following the birth of little Archie, Prince Harry attended the Invictus Games. The initiative was created by the Prince in 2014 as an opportunity for injured, disabled or sick veterans to come together and play sports such as indoor rowing, sitting volleyball and wheelchair basketball. While at the event, he was spotted wearing a branded jacket with the words “I Am Daddy.”
Speaking to TODAY, Prince Harry opened up about being a father and how it has reminded him of his late mother, Princess Diana.
While most people would assume that royalty comes with all privileges, there are certain things it can’t give, like bringing back a loved one. With all the formality we see in the royal circle, one must feel sorry for Prince William and Prince Harry for growing up without a mother who is supposed to guide you through life to adulthood.
Harry seems to hold family high in regard after losing his mother at such a young age. He is reminded of how it feels like to have a mother figure around with Meghan’s mom staying temporarily at their home, Frogmore Cottage.
Through experience, it seems like Prince Harry’s main focus will be his family and we wish him all the best!
We are looking forward to see how Harry raises Archie. We saw Princess Diana raise her two sons, outstandingly!
