Prince Harry Misses Having Mom Diana By His Side After His Son Archie Is Born

Having a baby can often make a person yearn for their parents, whether or not they are alive.

Prince Harry has always been and will always be a mama’s boy. While he lost his mother at the young age of twelve, he is still a mama’s boy at heart. He has been reminded much of his mother lately. Along with his wife, Meghan Markle, the Duke of Sussex welcomed a very healthy beautiful baby boy on the 6th of May.

According to ET Canada, he opened up about how much he missed his mom, the late Princess Diana. On May 9th, Prince Harry made his first appearance in the Netherlands after the birth of his child. After his son was born, he had to quickly fly off just a few days later.

Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor was proudly shown off by his parents at a press photocall at the Windsor Castle just two days after Meghan gave birth. Harry then went off to the Hague to attend a presentation in regards to the 2020 Invictus Games. Prince Harry is a regular royal attendant of the Invictus games every year.

Prince Harry is a patron of the annual Paralympic-style held internationally. It is an event for ill and wounded military servicemen and women and veterans. Throughout the trip, the new father talked with a former soldier and competitor, Dennis van der Stroon. Harry opened up about losing his mother and also spoke about his family.

Van der Stroon spoke to the press later and spoke of Harry and his loss. According to ET Canada, he stated that losing a mother was like losing a sense of security. Prince William and Harry’s mother, Princess Diana, passed away in a car accident in Paris in 1997. She was only 36 years old.

The former soldier also told the press that the prince has a new goal and a new focus after having a new child, according to ET Canada. Harry was amazed at the miracles in this world and how his small child is making a lot of people happy. The prince also told the former soldier that he was happy that his son is very quiet so far.

An Invictus Games medalist and former Royal Marine, JJ Chalmers, spoke of his friend, the Duke of Sussex. According to ET Canada, he said the new father loved fatherhood so far but found it filled with hard work as well. He stated Archie slept for most of the first day but soon woke up.

Little Archie Harrison is the seventh in line for the throne. He is the eighth great-grandchild of the Queen and Duke of Edinburgh. He is the fourth grandchild of Charles, the Prince of Wales. Meghan and Harry are very excited about the new tiny addition to their family. The prince was even seen sporting a jacket that said “Invictus Family Daddy”. It also said “I Am Daddy”. When they were asked who Archie takes after, Meghan stated they didn’t know yet. Harry added that babies change a lot over the first few weeks of life.
