Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have come far in their relationship, as can be seen in them reaching a special milestone in their marriage: their seventh wedding anniversary. The Duchess of Sussex has had fans glued to her official Instagram since making her social media comeback earlier in the year. As expected, Meghan paid tribute to her husband and their enduring love on their special day. This time, she fascinated her three million followers and netizens worldwide by sharing a deeply personal post that offered fans a rare glimpse into her private life. The image was widely received. Meghan, 43, shared a heartfelt montage on Instagram featuring never-before-seen photographs that chronicle her journey with Harry, from their early courtship period to family life in California.
Set to the tune of “I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)” by The Proclaimers, the video collage showcased the Sussexes’ intimate moments, including snapshots from their first meeting in 2016, romantic getaways to Botswana and Norway, and candid scenes from their 2018 royal wedding. In nearly all of the pictures of Harry and Meghan, the two appeared inseparable, holding hands, touching and looking ever so in love. Pictured in a board-style format, the montage also featured adorable pictures of their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, capturing the family’s evolution over the years.
A standout image from the collection was a 2022 Christmas photo depicting Archie gently kissing Lilibet's forehead in front of a decorated tree, showing the adorable bond between their two little ones.
Meghan captioned the post:
“Seven years of marriage. A lifetime of stories. Thanks to all of you (whether by our side, or from afar) who have loved and supported us throughout our love story - we appreciate you. Happy anniversary! ❤️”

Meghan’s photo montage for her and Prince Harry’s seventh wedding anniversary gave fans a glimpse into the home life of the Sussexes. The former actress-turned Duchess often made montages during her days as an actress and while running her lifestyle blog. Interestingly, despite their departure from royal duties in the United Kingdom and relocation to the United States amid a row with the royal family, Meghan included her royal coat of arms in the montage.
Other standout images in the montage included an ultrasound scan of Prince Archie and a baby picture of him. Meghan’s impressive calligraphy skills could also be seen on the board, with a handwritten note written in cursive. The note included lyrics to “Stand By Me” by Ben E. King, which was Harry and Meghan’s wedding song. In the seven years they have been married, the two have dealt with many adversities, but it’s good to see they have come out on the other side. Meghan added another note on the board that read “love wins,” two simple words encapsulating her marriage to Harry and everything they have overcome.
There was also another handwritten note on the image board, which grabbed attention. This one read, “our love story.” The words were fitting, as Harry and Meghan’s relationship has been one of the most popular love stories within the royal family and among public figures in general. Although the Sussexes are now based in Montecito, California, they still fascinate royal watchers everywhere.
While Meghan’s montage gave fans many glimpses of her life with Harry, she had one more surprise in store for all the Sussex fans out there!

As a tribute to their seventh wedding anniversary, another intimate photograph that perfectly encapsulated their strong bond and love was released. The Duchess of Sussex’s lifestyle brand, As Ever, shared the never-seen-before picture taken by renowned photographer and longtime friend of Meghan, Jake Rosenberg. In the black-and-white photo taken at their Montecito home, Prince Harry and Meghan could be seen holding hands and looking deeply into each other’s eyes. It’s one of the most romantic images of the two, and Rosenberg explained the moment the picture was taken.
“It was a beautiful mid-March evening in Montecito,” he revealed. “Anticipating the shoot day ahead, we took a quiet walk through the residence just after sunset where I captured this moment of Meghan and Harry in their natural element, sharing a beautiful moment together.”
Rosenberg and Meghan have been friends for a long time, and their ease around one another is reflected in the images. He has also photographed her on numerous occasions, including for her lifestyle brand, As Ever and her Netflix show, “With Love, Meghan.” Describing the process of photographing the Duchess, he said:
“Shooting with Meghan, it just feels like we're two friends hanging out, you know?” He added, “It doesn’t feel like this giant production, and there are all these different people weighing in. It’s just a really nice moment for us to have together to capture authentic, genuine moments.”
Rosenberg shared his admiration for Meghan’s personality and pride in the fact that she gets to share more of that with the world with her platform. He added that her evolution over the years has been a “wild journey.”
“She has a way of (adding) a personal touch on so many different facets of her life,” he said. “I’ve witnessed that as a friend, and now she gets to share that with so many more people.”
The sweet picture taken by Rosenberg was shared by As Ever’s official Instagram account, accompanied by an anniversary celebration message which read:
“Sometimes two is better than one. Wishing a very happy anniversary to our founder @meghan and her husband Prince Harry.”
