Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Post An Update On Their Instagram Account For The Last Time As Royals

In January, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle announced their decision to step down as senior royals and to become independent of the royal family. Their last official day carrying out royal duties and keeping their royal titles will be tomorrow, March 31st.

The time has now come for Harry and Meghan to start their new life, and they said goodbye via their royal Instagram account, for the very last time.

Harry, 35, and Meghan, 38, will be moving to North America, and dropping their royal titles. As part of this transition they will no longer be using the Sussex social media accounts or website.

A spokesperson confirmed on the Sussex website:

"The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will no longer post on Instagram under the @sussexroyal handle and will also no longer update SussexRoyal.com website. Both the Instagram account and website will remain in existence online for the foreseeable future, although they will be inactive."

The couple, who are rumored to be moving to LA with their 10-month-old son Archie, declared in their post that they would continue their charity work even if it wasn’t on display in their social media. They said: "While you may not see us here, the work continues. Thank you to this community - for the support, the inspiration and the shared commitment to the good in the world.”

The couple are patrons of many charities and hold these organizations close to their hearts. Harry and Meghan are now working on developing their own non-profit organization, but the Sussex Royal Foundation, which is something they had been planning on setting up in the UK will not go ahead, reports the Daily Mail.
