Prince George Helps Bring In Royal Family’s Grocery Delivery In Norfolk

As the oldest child of Prince William and Kate Middleton, Prince George is third in line to inherit the throne of the British royal family. That means he has a pretty charmed life of grand estates, nannies, and upscale holidays. But it might be a surprise to know that just like any other regular kid, Prince George still helps out around the house.

The Sun reports that Prince George (aged 5) regularly helps with the royal family’s grocery delivery from Waitrose. The groceries are delivered to their countryside home in Norfolk, Anmer Hall, where the family spends some vacation weekends.

A source told the Sun that “It is rare for anyone to ever offers to carry deliveries inside. So the Waitrose delivery staff were surprised and delighted to be greeted regularly by Prince William and Prince George.”

Hello Magazine says that “William and Kate are clearly trying to give their kids a very normal upbringing” as they go to mixed boys/girls school, are sometimes cared for by their grandparents instead of nannies, and make pizza at home with their parents. It seems that bringing in groceries is another part of the down-to-earth upbringing that Kate and Will want to provide for their kids.

We can only imagine that Harry and Meghan will follow in their footsteps with little Archie. Once Archie is old enough then maybe Prince George can show his cousin the ropes and they can greet the delivery van together.
