Prince Charles Posts New Picture With Birthday Boy Prince William

Prince William celebrated his 38th birthday on Sunday, June 21. In honor of his son’s birthday, Prince Charles shared an adorable picture of the birthday boy and himself which had been taken in December by Kate Middleton.

This year, Prince William’s birthday was double the celebrations as it happened to be on the same day as Father's Day.

One of the sweetest birthday wishes the Duke of Cambridge received was a public post by his father Prince Charles. The Prince of Wales shared a picture of him and his son on the Clarence House Instagram page. The picture which had been taken last December by the Duchess of Cambridge shows father and son in a loving embrace with both smiling into the camera.

Due to the current lockdown, Prince William celebrated his birthday with his wife Kate Middleton and his three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis at their country home in Anmer Hall, Norfolk. 

Therefore the Duke’s birthday marks the third birthday that the family of five had to celebrate without the rest of the royal family this year as Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte had each turned one year older in April and May.

But still, we're sure Prince William’s family ensured he had a wonderful day despite everything going on in the world.

As one can see in some brand new pictures that were shared on the eve of the Duke’s birthday via the Kensington Palace Instagram account the Cambridge family is making the best of the situation. The pictures taken by aspiring photographer Kate Middleton show Prince William and his three children having fun in the garden at their country home.

In one picture, the Duke is lying on the ground with a big smile on his face while he is tackled by George, Charlotte and Louis. 

The other picture shows Prince William posing on a tree-swing with all three of his children. The swing had actually been one of the wedding gifts he and Kate had received back in 2011.
