Prince Charles turns 71 today, November 14, spending his birthday on an official trip to India. Even though he is abroad, his family still extended best wishes from the UK.

The Telegraph reports that the prince spent his day in Mumbai visiting with children whose education is partially funded by his British Asian Trust. The Prince was gifted bonsai trees depicting mythical scenes by the children, and they all shared a chocolate cake together.

Meanwhile, across the pond, his two sons William and Harry sent their dear dad birthday greetings including photos of their own families.

It has the adorable caption “Happy birthday to His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales - Sir, Pa, Grandpa! 🎂”

Prince Charles wrapped up his trip to India with a special floral garland send-off, and a Namaste gesture when given a flower by a little boy. He will then jet off to New Zealand on the 17th-23rd of November for another royal trip reports Hello.
