Pregnant Woman Is Put On Bedrest So Her Husband Steps In For Her In Maternity Photoshoot

There's a fine line between sympathizing with the plight of a very pregnant and injecting a little sense of humor into the situation.

For the pregnant woman, carrying all the extra weight in one central location while having the baby kicking at the bladder are understandably stressful experiences.

That brings to light the story of Kentucky mom-to-be Kelsey Brewer, who recently found herself confined to bed towards the end of her pregnancy per doctor's orders. While it certainly put a damper on her ability to take care of preparations for the birth of the child, she was also forced to miss out on the opportunity to participate in her own maternity photo shoot.

Under normal circumstances, the disappointment would be a little overwhelming. However, a thoughtful husband with a very interesting sense of humor and a caring sister had other ideas.

"So when her husband texted me wanting to replace her and surprise her with the pictures how could I say no?!"  Kiana Smither, the photographer, wrote in a post on Facebook. 

"Not only is he hysterical but he was able to turn his wife’s frown upside down and brighten her mood completely!"

In an interview with Cafe Mom, Kiana said,  "Jared wanted to surprise her and replace her in the waterfall pictures to lighten her mood! So, we went when she thought we were going to be setting up the nursery!"

She later added, "I have not done one like this before! Normally, maternity shoots are pure love and sweetness! This photoshoot we laughed the entire time! It was truly hysterical!"
