Precious 3-Year-Old Giggles At Piano Before Blowing You Away With Her Talent

Three-year-olds are still learning and growing. They’re small toddlers at a crucial time in their life, where they’re learning about the world that surrounds them and evolving into children who will eventually enroll in kindergarten.

They spend their time potty training, playing and learning at preschool, learning how to color in between the lines and adapting to following directions and orders.

But sometimes we come across children that are so unique and ahead of other children their age that their talent shocks us.

Typical three-year-olds still aren’t able to tie their own shoes, button their shirts, zipper their pants, or even read or write. But this special three-year-old girl has mastered a talent so proficiently that the internet is stunned.

Charlotte is a three-year-old from Hong Kong that is enrolled in piano lessons at Do Re Mi. The precious toddler can be seen approaching her beloved black piano, sitting on the bench and abiding by instructions from a woman behind the camera to play a song for her.

You’d think that the toddler, since enrolled in lessons, would be able to play simple songs, like “Chopsticks” or “Itsy Bitsy Spider.” But Charlotte is actually a prodigy at playing the piano, whose video has gone viral with over 5 million views.

Charlotte plays the piano at a skill level of a fifth grader at just three-years-old, but she’ll fool you into believing she’s as amazing as an older and more advanced pianist. Her tiny fingers slide along various scales as she plays the song “Allegretto in F,” by J.C.F. Bach like a professional.

The timeless piece is difficult to perform and was written in the 1700’s by Johann Christoph Friedrich Bach, who happens to be the ninth son of the famous Johann Sebastian Bach. The complex chords that are integrated into this piano piece are complicated to learn, making Charlotte’s talent all the more impressive.

The toddler can be seen humming along with the music as she finds herself lost in the beauty of the piece.

It’s long been recommended that children wait until age 5 to begin piano lessons, but Charlotte has shown such immense skill and intelligence that her parents wanted her to learn at the young age of 3.

The way Charlotte graces her fingers against the keys makes it seem like she’s been learning and practicing since she was born. Her talent is showcased through her impressive song selection and the way in which she composes herself while playing.

It’s inevitable that if Charlotte continues playing, she’ll master the piano completely in a few short years. She’s already way ahead of the skill level for her age!

Witness the amazing moment Charlotte plays J.C.F. Bach on the piano like a professional, and wait until the end when she showcases her childlike joy!

We here at APost believe that talent - especially that of younger generations - should be celebrated! Show this to your friends to give little Charlotte the recognition she deserves!
