Police Warn To Drive Away Quickly If Someone Flashes Their High-Beams At You

All over Social Media, there are warnings about staying safe in certain situations. Now there is a new trend the police is warning people about:

An anonymous woman stated that she was sitting in a parking lot when a car suddenly parked in front of her and turned their high-beams on. She couldn’t see very well because of how bright the lights were. Two men jumped out of the car and tried to break into her car while she was blinded by the light. Luckily, she was able to drive away safely.

A friend of the victim posted her story as a warning on Social Media to others. However, the woman decided not to report this incident to the police. When a South Carolina Police Department saw the post on Social Media, they reached out to the posted and got in contact with the woman. She choose to say anonymous for her safety.

The police department responded by letting the public know some tips if this should ever happen to you. You should lock your car doors quickly. Make sure to call the police as soon as possible. Remove yourself from the situation. If the car should start following you, drive yourself to the nearest police department.
