Police Respond To Calls After Two Minnesota Dogs Dialed 911 Sixteen Times

Two playful pups surprised the local authorities and their owner when they managed to accidentally call 911 16 times in just 30 minutes.

According to Fox News 9, when the officers answered the calls, they could hear the dogs barking in the background. Because barking dogs is often a sign that something may be amiss, it is no surprise that the authorities were concerned about the repeated calls to 911.

Officer Michelle Roberts responded to the call and realized that nobody was answering the door. The police were then able to get in touch with the homeowner and relay to them that there had been 16 calls to 911 from inside the house.

The owner was also confused but gave the officer the garage code so that she could enter the house. Once the authorities were inside, the only thing that they found were two playful dogs just wanting a little attention according to Fox News 9.

The dogs had a phone that they were able to paw at over and over as they dialed 911. Because the phone screen was set to lock, the only call that it could make was to 911, making it easy for the dogs to trigger the call continuously.

Fortunately for the dogs, they are pretty cute. Because of this adorable nature, not even the cops can be mad at them for the unintended hijinks. Nobody even pressed charges on the silly dogs.
