Police Officers In Stitches As They Pursue 'Dinosaur' Down A City Street

Police Officers in Plymouth, UK probably didn't think they would end up chasing a dinosaur when they started their shift for the evening. In newly released dashcam footage, you can hear how officers couldn't stop laughing as they followed a person dressed in a T-rex type outfit sprint down the street.  

The Charles Cross Police Team uploaded the 30-second dashcam footage on Twitter writing,

"Just another late shift in #Plymouth - We can confirm the Doyouthinkhesawus is NOT extinct and they can run real fast! Let’s hear your best ‘Why did the dinosaur cross the road’ jokes please...."

The suspect in question was dressed in a dinosaur costume that looked to be about eight feet high. He was filmed as he ran away from a police cruiser in Plymouth this past Saturday night. Officers can easily be heard on the dashcam video as they try to catch their breaths from laughing at the sight. 

They chased the T-Rex all the way to Royal William Yard, according to Plymouth Live. The officers joked about how they were very impressed with the speed of the dinosaur as he runs from their cruiser. One officer quipped that it makes a person wonder how the dinosaurs became extinct in the first place.
