It's always so much fun when people do something different than what they are used to doing every day. It's even more fun when you do that with the people you spend most of your time with. For instance, going to a football game with your colleagues after a long day of work. This must be what some police officers were thinking when they decided to make a video of themselves dancing to a classic song.

The Challenge: People are always coming up with different challenges to try out and post on social media. One of the latest challenges has got cops trying it out too. Some of the videos shared are actually very good. Apparently, this challenge began in Texas when the Sheriff's Office in Bexar County posted a video of deputy Alexander Mena singing Kumbia Kings' song Fuiste Mala.

Mena's co-workers believe he has wonderful lip sync that no one will beat. Since this video was uploaded, more police officers have been taking on the challenge as well, thereby increasing the video's popularity. The work of a police officer is to protect and serve, but as it turns out, they can also take part in a viral challenge.

In Missouri, the Nixa Police Department also took part in this viral challenge, and they did well too. They had fun dancing to Footloose by Kenny Loggins. Since a lip sync song should include some dancing as well, a couple of community members joined the cops in the dance. Together, they had an amazing dance party, one that was so beautiful to watch.

The video began at the door of the police chief. As the door opened, the police chief came out saying Kevin Bacon's Footloose line, which says that he thought that was a party. The chief then instructed the others to dance. The video also shows some shots of other people's feet as they got into the grove. At the same time, the cops were doing their own moves before starting the real dance and lip sync.

The police department posted on Facebook that the shooting and editing of the video were done by one of their Public Information Officers, who has knowledge of film production. They did not want the public to think that they were using the tax payer's money while making that video. The cops were very grateful to the community members who came out and joined them in the dance. They said that it was fun doing something like that with the community they serve. Some of the comments on their video showed that the people were in love with what they did. Some said that it was the best video they had seen so far.

People on social media were also happy because the video involved the community as well. Although this challenge has been done just by cops in the past, this video was unique for bringing in the community. This is what was most impressive according to comments on social media. When people come together and participate in something fun like this, good things happen. This was a competitive and positive challenge.

This video shows how cops and community can cooperate and do something positive. If the video has taught you something, pass it on to others and see what they think about it! Maybe you can perform a lip sync dance together!
