Police Officer Walks Elderly Lady All The Way Home When He Notices Her Struggling On The Street

Jinan is a busy city in China that sees heavy traffic throughout the week. One day, an elderly woman was struggling down the street carrying some heavy bags.

Being less than five feet tall, this woman was practically invisible to other cars and pedestrians.

Each step was harder than the last as this older woman struggled in the cold weather. A police officer watched as the determined older woman persevered through the street despite almost falling over at one point.

Without hesitation, Officer He Xu approached the elderly woman. Standing at six-feet tall, Xu towered over the smaller woman. 

He spoke gently to the woman and offered her help across the street. The woman placed her bags on the ground, and Officer Xu placed his gloves in his pocket. The officer lifted the heavy bag without any issues. He offered his free hand to the elderly woman who took it with delight.

Officer Xu walked the elderly woman until they were at her home. He wasn't going to leave the nice woman until he knew she was safe. Xu proved that true honor is found in serving others.

This act of kindness came out of the pure goodness of the officer's heart. He did not know that a random passerby was filming the entire act of kindness. According to the Daily Mail, the video went viral on Duo Yin, a famous Chinese social media platform.

Countless people online have been touched by watching this amazing act of kindness. Officer Xu inspired millions of others to be kinder and more caring.
