'Planet Earth' Host Urges Everyone To Put A Spoonful Of Sugar And Water In Their Yard To Save Humanity

When you see an inactive bee, he’s not dying; he’s exhausted. He simply needs a drink and a rest. It is important that we take care of our bees. Without them, humans will be extinct soon after. And all it takes is a spoonful of sugary water in our yards to rejuvenate the little bees and help them along their way.

There is no need to fear a bee. They are docile and will go about their business if you go about yours. Only if he believes he is being attacked will a bee defend himself.

And bees are so much more than harmless; they are essential to human survival. In fact, without their pollination of the planet, we would not be here in the first place. Today, bees continue to feed 90% of our population, worldwide.

Bees can become tired and they simply don't have enough energy to return to the hive which can often result in being swept away.

If you find a tired bee in your home, a simple solution of sugar and water will help revive an exhausted bee. Simply mix two tablespoons of white, granulated sugar with one tablespoon of water, and place on a spoon for the bee to reach."

Attenborough informs us that the bee population has dropped by 1/3 in the last five years. He says that if bees were to disappear, humans would be extinct in four years. And humans caused this; we have made thousands of species extinct with our consumption of the planet.
